Ingredients

  • 16 oz tequila
  • 8 oz cointreau or triple sec
  • 8 oz lime juice
  • 10 oz apple cider
  • 4 oz water
  • 4-6 oz maple syrup
  • Apple slices
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Rosemary Sprig

Instructions

  • In a pitcher or a clear glass bottle with a swing top, add in (with a funnel) the tequila, lime juice, apple cider, water, maple syrup and close the lid. Shake the bottle with the lid tightly secured until all ingredients are distributed.
  • Chill the carafe in the freezer for an hour or in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Pour out roughly 4-5 oz into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with an apple slice, rosemary sprig and cinnamon stick.
  • Alternatively for a more classic margarita taste, you can pour 5 oz into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10-15 seconds until the shaker tin is very cold on the outside. This will create more of a classic icy, margarita texture rather than just the pour from the bottle but either one works!
