Burrata Caprese

This Burrata Caprese salad is simple, brightly flavored, and creamy! Ingredients

  • 3 cups sliced cherry tomatoes 
  • ¼ cup champagne vinegar 
  • 1 tsp honey or agave 
  • ½ tsp kosher salt 
  • ¼ cup freshly chopped fresh basil plus extra leaves for topping
  • Cracked black pepper 
  • 8 oz of burrata 2 balls
  • Flaky sea salt
  • Sliced baguette

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add the cherry tomatoes, champagne vinegar, honey, kosher salt, a few turns of cracked black pepper, and chopped basil. Toss tomatoes until they are well marinated. Let the tomatoes sit for 10-15 minutes to soak up the liquid. 
  • On a large platter, tear open the burrata balls half way and place them on opposite sides. Spoon over the marinated tomatoes and sprinkle with flakey sea salt. Garnish with extra fresh basil leaves and serve with baguette slices.
