Ingredients

  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee cooled
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 2-3 oz prosecco
  • 1-2 oz sparkling water
  • Orange wedge

Instructions

  • Fill a wine, large coupe or low ball glass with ice. Add espresso, coffee liquor, and simple syrup. Stir together gently. Top with prosecco and sparkling water and stir together once more. Garnish with a orange wedge.

Notes

You don’t want to shock the espresso by immediately pouring it over ice, so let it cool for a bit before starting to make your drink. The only extreme temperature that should be involved is ice! Otherwise, everything should be around room temperature.
