Martini Marinated Blue Cheese Olives

These easy martini-marinated olives are stuffed with blue cheese and drenched in citrus and savory flavors. Use them for garnish in an actual martini, as part of your charcuterie boards, in salads, or as a simple bite-sized appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green olives pitted and drained
  • 1 tbsp gin
  • 1 small blue cheese wedge
  • Zest of an orange
  • Zest of a lemon
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Add blue cheese wedge to a small bowl and drizzle in 1 tbsp of gin. Smash the blue cheese wedge until the cheese is in a creamy paste. Transfer to a ziplock bag and snip a small tip of the top off.
  • Squeeze a small amount of the blue cheese mixture into each olive hole.
  • In a small bowl add stuffed green olives, orange zest, lemon zest, chili flakes, garlic and enough olive oil to lightly coat the olives. Toss the olives together until all the ingredients are well coated.
