Nestled into the rocky mountains in Vail, CO you will find a little piece of Italy called La Bottega. After a freezing powder day of skiing you find yourself at the bottom of the mountain in need of a very tall glass of wine and some warm carbs, STAT.

La Bottega is the picture perfect ending to your day in the mountains and eating there makes you feel like you’re in some kind of winter wonderland movie. It’s cozy, its beautiful and the lobster ravioli will literally have you melting in your chair, it’s that good.

If were being honest, Italian food doesn’t get me going like the thought of fish tacos and margaritas but after my experience at La Bottega I wanted to run to Williams Sonoma and buy a pasta making attachment for my kitchen aid because I was so inspired! You don’t often find pasta made fresh that morning in a restaurant but when you do, you don’t forget it.

Second Course
Lobster Ravioli with lobster & tomato ragu

Third Course:
Seared duck breast with sweet potatoes in agro doles sauce with cranberries

Tiramisu
