Big Batch Bloody Mary Recipe

It’s spicy, savory, boozy, and delicious - it’s a Bloody Mary! Enjoy this next installment in my Big Batch cocktail series at your next brunch gathering. You’ll have the mix pre-made and everyone can simply add their vodka and garnish depending on their mood. I always say a Bloody Mary can heal all ailments, imagine what a big batch could do!

Ingredients

  • 48 oz tomato juice 
  • 2 lemons juiced 
  • 2 tbsp horseradish 
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • 2 tsp celery salt 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder 
  • 6 shakes Tabasco sauce or more to taste 
  • 12 oz vodka 

Garnishes:

  • Bacon strips
  • Celery sticks
  • Green olives 
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  • In a blender or large container add tomato juice, lemons, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, garlic powder, and Tabasco. Blend together until the mixture is very smooth or alternatively stir together with a whisk until the mixture is very smooth. 
  • Chill mixture overnight or for 2-3 hours day of. 
  • Add the vodka if you want the entire batch to be spiked or leave it on the side with a jigger as a mocktail for people to serve themself. Add 1.5 - 2 oz into each serving over ice.
  • Place garnishes in small cups or bowls next to the pitcher or serving vessel.
