Big Batch Hugo Spritz

The Hugo Spritz is the gentle, sweet, and floral cousin of the Aperol Spritz, and today’s recipe will make a big batch of it! Instead of a bitter liqueur, the Hugo calls for a delightful elderflower liqueur that gives this spritz an overall lighter flavor. I know you and your guests will want seconds (and thirds) so here’s a big batch recipe that’ll keep you sipping all night long!

Ingredients

  • 10 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 bottles prosecco
  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves
  • 3 limes cut into thin wheels
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Add elderflower liqueur, fresh lime juice, mint leaves and lime wheels to a large pitcher or beverage dispenser. Stir well.
  • Top with two bottles of prosecco and mix together. Top with a few cups of ice until the pitcher is mostly full.
  • Serve immediately to avoid prosecco going flat.

Notes

Note: You can batch this ahead of time. Add elderflower liqueur, lime juice, and limes to a large pitcher or beverage dispenser and cover and refrigerate. Once ready to serve, add in fresh mint leaves and bottles of prosecco. Stir together until combined and fill the remainder of the pitcher or dispenser with ice. Serve immediately to avoid prosecco going flat.
