Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz cointreau
  • 2 oz blood orange juice
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • 1 tsp simple syrup

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, cointreau, blood orange juice, lime juice and simple syrup.
  • Shake the shaker for 20-30 seconds or until very cold. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a blood orange wedge.

Notes

I used a store-bought simple syrup for this recipe, but if you want to deepen the flavor even further you can use my homemade simple syrup recipe to make an orange version.
