Gingerbread Affogato

Gingerbread Affogato is a hot and cold Italian dessert with a fun holiday twist! Freshly brewed espresso and Kahlua is poured over sweet caramel ice cream, then finished with a sparkling gingerbread man! Sweet, sweet indulgence is just one spoonful away!

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops caramel ice cream 
  • 2 oz 2 shots brewed espresso or very strong coffee
  • 1 oz Kahlua optional

Instructions

  • Scoop ice cream: Add scoops of ice cream to the bottom of a glass or coffee mug.
  • Pour over: Top with espresso and Kahlua, if using.
  • Finish with a cookie: Top with a gingerbread man cookie and a pinch of ground cinnamon. Enjoy!

Use your favorite ice cream flavor, like vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin or a specialty holiday flavor!
