Passion Fruit Puree (from fresh fruit)

  • 12 fresh purple passion fruit halved

Passion Fruit Puree (from frozen fruit)

  • 12 oz frozen passion fruit pieces thawed

How To Make Passion Fruit Puree (from fresh fruit)

  • Halve each passion fruit and scoop out the inside flesh and seeds from each half. Place passion fruit insides into a food processor.
  • Blend/pulse the passion fruit until the mixture is mostly liquid. Strain mixture into a bowl through a fine mesh sieve. Press the mixture into the sieve with a spatula until all the liquid has been strained.
  • Place into an airtight container.

How To Make Passion Fruit Puree (from frozen fruit)

  • Place the bag of frozen passion fruit pieces in a food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and pureed. Strain into an airtight container.
  • Place into an airtight container.

Notes

Fridge: Store your puree in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
Freezer: Portion your puree into airtight containers - I suggest an ice cube try - so you don’t have to defrost it all at once.
