How To Make Passion Fruit Puree (from fresh fruit)
Halve each passion fruit and scoop out the inside flesh and seeds from each half. Place passion fruit insides into a food processor.
Blend/pulse the passion fruit until the mixture is mostly liquid. Strain mixture into a bowl through a fine mesh sieve. Press the mixture into the sieve with a spatula until all the liquid has been strained.
Place into an airtight container.
How To Make Passion Fruit Puree (from frozen fruit)
Place the bag of frozen passion fruit pieces in a food processor.
Blend until the mixture is smooth and pureed. Strain into an airtight container.
Place into an airtight container.
Notes
Fridge: Store your puree in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.Freezer: Portion your puree into airtight containers - I suggest an ice cube try - so you don’t have to defrost it all at once.
