Matcha Margarita

This Matcha Margarita is as refreshing as it is delicious! The earthy flavors of matcha pair beautifully with a bit of sweetener, Cointreau, and tequila to create a vibrant healthy(ish) cocktail. You can serve this marg with brunch since it has caffeine, or sip on it at a pool party, girl's night, or whenever the mood strikes - I don’t judge!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz cointreau or orange liquor 
  • ½ oz agave syrup 
  • ½ tsp matcha powder

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, lime juice, cointreau, agave syrup and matcha powder. Shake for 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice and garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

Ingredient Note: If you don't have agave, you can use honey or simple syrup.
