I’m calling it, this Matcha Martini (or matchatini, if you will!) is the official drink of the summer! Today I’m sharing a version that is fruity and bold. Full of smooth, earthy flavor and bursting with caffeine, this matchatini is going to become your new obsession!
Add matcha powder to a small glass bowl. Add hot water and mix with a fork or bamboo whisk until the mixture has dissolved.
Add matcha to a cocktail shaker along with pineapple juice, vodka, cointreau and orgeat syrup. Fill with ice and shake for 10-15 seconds or until the shaker is very cold.
Strain into a coupe glass and zest a little lime zest on top before serving.
Notes
If you can’t get your hands on orgeat, you can use amaretto or simple syrup mixed with almond extract.
