This Mini Steak Frites Recipe is both super adorable and packs a punch of flavor! Imagine garlic and rosemary flavored fries wrapped up with juicy steak, and then topped with a dash of mouthwatering steak sauce. This is such a unique bite-sized appetizer that’ll have everyone talking!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs of skirt steak
  • 2 tbsp of canola oil 
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1.25 lbs of frozen shoe string French fries 
  • 8 Garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of minced rosemary
  • 1 tbsp of thyme sprigs 
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • A1 or steak sauce for topping or dipping

Instructions

  • Heat a large cast iron skillet or grill skillet on high heat with canola oil. Dry skirt steak with a paper towel and season evenly with salt and pepper. Grill 1-2 mins on each side. Let steak rest for a few mins and cut into thin strips.
  • In a large bowl toss fries with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Bake frozen fries according to package directions and until golden brown.
  • Wrap a few French fries with a piece of steak and poke together with a cocktail skewer. Drizzle with steak sauce or serve on the side for dipping.
