Raspberry Martini

This sweet raspberry martini is perfect for Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s, or whenever you’re craving a bright and fruity drink to sip on. The fresh raspberries and lemon juice are a winning combination on their own, but when you add cranberry juice and chilled vodka to the mix - get ready to have an unforgettable night.

Ingredients

  • 5 fresh raspberries 
  • ½ lemon juiced 
  • ½ oz agave simple syrup or grenadine 
  • 1 oz cranberry juice 
  • 2 oz gin or vodka

Instructions

  • Add raspberries and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Muddle together until the raspberries are smashed and have released their juices. 
  • Add agave, cranberry juice and gin to the cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds or until the outside of the container is very chilled.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled martini glass. 
  • Garnish with fresh raspberries and a lemon slice.

Notes

Simple Syrup: You can make your own raspberry simple syrup for more berry flavor! Just heat a pot with sugar, water, and raspberries - stirring until done. Strain and allow it to cool before adding it to your martini. 
Garnish: Skewer fresh raspberries on a toothpick for garnish. Also add lemon slices, if desired.
