Ingredients

  • 4-5 whole raspberries plus extra for garnish
  • 2 oz vodka
  • ½ oz grenadine
  • ½ oz simple syrup  optional (add in if you like sweet cocktails!)

Champagne

Instructions

  • Muddle raspberries: Add whole raspberries to a cocktail shaker and muddle together until the raspberries have released their juices. Add in the vodka, grenadine and simple syrup and shake together.
  • Top with bubbly: Pour contents into a cocktail glass through a fine mesh strainer. Fill the glass ⅔ with ice and top the remaining glass with champagne.
  • Enjoy!: Garnish with a cocktail pick filled with raspberries.
  • Sweetness: If you like your cocktails on the sweeter side (my friends do!) I do a combo of simple syrup and grenadine. If you don't like as much sweetness leave out the simple syrup.
