Velvety peanut butter frosting… a chocolate cupcakes best friend 🙂


Peanut Butter Frosting

4 Cups of powdered sugar
1 Cup / 2 Sticks of unsalted butter at room temperature
1 Cup of creamy peanut butter
2 Teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/2 Teaspoon of kosher salt
4 Tablespoons of heavy whipping cream

In a large mixing bowl with a stand or hand mixer beat butter, peanut butter, vanilla extract and kosher salt until light and fluffy. Add in one cup of powdered sugar at a time and a tablespoon of heavy whipping cream until all powdered sugar and heavy whipping cream included. Top with a frosting knife or piping bag.
