Apple Bourbon Bread Pudding //
Tip*Have all your ingredients ready to go in the PM so you can throw it together in the casserole dish and just bake it off the next morning!
Hello Hello! Happy Sunday!
Lately weekend mornings have been spent brunching in a my grey pajamas and cozy sweater or putting on my converse and and throwing my hair up in bun for an early Starbucks morning with Jared. We are slowly finding our weekend routine and it has been oh so peaceful.
Yesterday we snuck out early and got a nice quiet morning coffee together. Seems like these moments are sparse during the week so I take full advantage when they come around. About ten minutes into our morning cup of joe and we get a call from the furniture store! Our couch had finally arrived! Do you know how exciting this call is?! When your apartment is thinly furnished. Well I’ll tell you its freaking exciting!
Things are starting to really come together in our good old two bedroom / two bathroom. Have I mentioned we have the cutest court yard?! I really can’t wait to show you the new space. Jared was even generous enough to let me store the second bedroom as my food blogging office. It’s basically half office / half cozy room and I’m really into it.
I hope this October you are fitting in some good cozy brunches and enjoying the weekend morning as much as I am. For this post I have lined up 8 of The Whisking Kitchen’s coziest fall brunch recipes. Enjoy!

Tip* This recipe is tricky and takes full concentration, also don’t forget to peal those pears!
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Scones //
Tip* Don’t forget freshly brewed coffee for the perfect morning pairing!
Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel Cinnamon Rolls //
Tip* Make it easy on yourself by making the caramel a few days or a day in advance. That way you can focus on those rolls!
Pumpkin Pie with a Gingersnap Crust //
Tip* A good course salt, like kosher salt, and fresh ground cinnamon really bumps up the flavor game in this pie crust!
Apple Spiced Oat Bars //
Tip* These bars are easy and taste amazing. If you don’t have any apples on hand, pears are just as delicious!
Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls //
Tip* If you love boozy desserts… add in a tablespoon of bourbon or rum to the icing to give it an extra flavor kick!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pancakes //
Tip* Pancakes can be a little time consuming to make. To keep them all evenly warm in time for serving keep them in the oven on a baking sheet at a low temp.
