A huge thank you to Bumble Bee Seafoods for sponsoring this post and keeping The College Housewife afloat!

Even though fall is right around the corner I am embracing all things summer for at least another few weeks. Which means plenty of frozen cocktails and these epic loaded crab fries. If you love a fresh crab roll or New England clam chowder then you MUST add these crab fries to your summer menu.

These fries embody all the flavors of seafood classics with crispy fries tossed in Cajun seasoning, a creamy garlic aioli and tender pieces of crab meat

If you’re in need of a quick appetizer, this is your recipe. Everything is made easier with Bumble Bee® Crab Meat, no boiling, cracking or chopping. Just pop open one can, drain and you will have the same flavor essence in a fraction of the time and price!

Since 1899, Bumble Bee Seafoods has been on a mission to show the world that there’s a Better Way to Seafood. Bumble Bee recently announced new sustainability commitments, including allocating $40 million dollars over 5 years to causes that help protect our oceans like minimizing plastic waste, providing alternative seafood options, and encouraging sustainable fishing practices.

Serve these fries up with plenty of cold beer and seltzer for any summer afternoon.

Crab Fries Seasoning

The seasoning for these crab fries it so flavorful! Fresh hot fries are tossed with old bay or Cajun season, fresh minced garlic and plenty of salt for the perfect bite.

Are crab fries vegetarian?

Crab fries are not vegetarian! They can technically be classified as pescatarian

How to put together these crab fries…

  1. Bake fries according to package directions. Toss fries with old bay and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. While fries are baking, make the aioli. Mix together mayonnaise, garlic cloves, lemon juice and salt until well combined. Transfer mixture to a plastic bag or pastry bag and snip the tip off for drizzling.
  3. Top fries evenly with crab meat and drizzle with aioli. I love using Bumble Bee® White Crab Meat for simple-to-make appetizers. It’s an affordable, convenient way add crab to a dish.
  4. Top with chopped parsley, chives, jalapeno slices and chives and lemon wedges for serving.
