Say hello to spooky season with this Halloween charcuterie board! This fun Halloween appetizer is perfect when you want something that is equally edible as it is festive. This meat and cheese board is made with strategic regular ingredients with Halloween-themed food in mind. I mean, who doesn’t love a bleeding jam goat cheese?!
A huge thank you to Roth Cheese for sponsoring this post!

Why You’ll Love This Halloween Charcuterie Board
I love getting festive as much as the next person, but I need my decor-food to be totally edible, ya feel me?! Too much food coloring and mysterious appetizers freak me out a little! So today’s Halloween Charcuterie board is all about using great, festive, real, ingredients.
It wouldn’t be a cheeseboard without a few pieces of delicious Roth Cheese. For our spooky cheeseboard, I’m using a great blend of flavors and textures with Roth’s nutty and sharp Original Grand Cru (similar to Gruyere!), a spicy Jalapeno Havarti and their creamy Chèvre goat cheese as my ‘bleeding’ cheese!
Roth’s fresh goat cheeses are so reasonably priced at your local Walmart. You can also use this handy store locator to see where you can find all Roth Cheese varieties near you!
I use mostly darker fresh and dried fruits, cured meats and crackers to give the ambiance of the board a spookier vibe. After the board is set, come back in with some of your favorite decor items like spiders, webs, skeleton hands, etc. This is where you can get really crazy and fun!

Ingredients for a Halloween Charcuterie Board:
- Roth Grand Cru Cheese (6oz package)
- Roth Jalapeno Havarti Cheese (6oz package)
- Roth Plain Chèvre goat cheese (4oz log)
- 3 oz calabrese salame, prosciutto, or capocollo (or a blend!)
- Blackberries
- Pomegranates
- Sweet Sapphire Grapes
- Persimmons
- Dark Chocolate squares
- Dried Cherries
- Fig and Olive Crisps
- Raspberry jam (for goat cheese bleed)

How to make a Halloween Charcuterie Board
- Arrange Roth Cheese Original Grand Cru cheese slices, Roth Jalapeno Havarti slices and Roth Plain Chevre Goat Cheese in three different sections of a dark wood or black cheeseboard.
- Fold, roll, or make triangles with your cured meat selections next to each pile of cheese. Begin to fill in the board with Blackberries, pomegranate chards (the juicier/bloodier) the better, sweet sapphire grapes, and persimmons in large gaps. Use the dark chocolate squares, fig and olive crisps and dried cherries as ‘fillers’ to the board to use up any blank space.
- Add a small, organic looking ‘drip’ of raspberry jam to the center of the goat cheese log. This is made to look as if it’s bleeding. Stab the center of the drip with a small sharp knife.
- Top the board with plastic spiders, google eyes and arrange spider webbing around the sides.

Best Spooky Toppings for a Halloween Meat and Cheese Board:
This is where the cheeseboard comes to life! Grab your plastic spiders, googley eyes, spiderwebs, skeleton hands, pumpkins and go to town! I love keeping everything ‘edible’ for Halloween themed food and sprinkling in festive items on top.
If you want more snack ideas for your board, you can add Charcuterie Bites and/or Jalapeno Cranberry Dip, and you can’t forget a fun drink! Make a Big Batch of Apple Cider Margaritas or an Apple Cider Whiskey Cocktail.
