Hello everyone! Happy Sunday, more importantly Happy Father’s Day! I helped my friend and graphics/ photo editor extraordinaire shoot a wedding in Downtown Los Angeles. One of her good friends was getting married and asked me if I could second shoot with her. I’m shooting another wedding next weekend for my cousin so I figured it would be a good refresher. Sooooo we took my Dad out last night instead! We went for dinner at a local Thai place that opened up near my parents house. My Dad had never had Thai food before so we went for it. Jared and I got classic pad thai and my Dad got some drunken noodles. It was a super relaxing Saturday.

We’ve got a pretty short week around here. On Thursday morning we are headed to Colorado for my cousins wedding and a few vacation days. I’m in Colorado every few months for photoshoots but this time we are headed into the mountains! My internship in college was in Aspen so I always crave going back up whenever I get the chance. This also means that this week is going to be freaking bananas! I’ve got a few shoots I need to wrap up, a ton of email catch up and I just realized I formatted a memory card that had a shoot on it that I still needed. Talk about major brain fart. I’m thinking this little vacation might be coming at a good time. I’ll keep this short so I can get my life together for the week but scroll on down to read this week’s Sunday Slate!

1. Summer photoshoot with Purely Elizabeth!
Last month I went to Boulder, Colorado for a summer photoshoot with Purely Elizabeth granola! Every few months I head over and we do a big 2 day shoot. This gives their brand around 30 photos to reuse on their website, social channels and marketing materials. It’s a great business tactic and one of my favorite ways to contribute content with brands. These are a few shots from the shoot 🙂
