If you’re looking for the best watermelon vodka cocktail to make this summer, this cocktail is it!
This fresh watermelon cocktail is made with just four simple fresh ingredients: ripe watermelon, vodka, fresh lime juice and agave.
It’s refreshing, fruity, and what I love to batch for pool days and bbq’s!

I don’t know about you guys but I am a HUGE watermelon lover.
I can sit and eat an entire half of a watermelon poolside and be totally content. This summer I’ve put watermelon in spritz’s, fruity salsas and now this juicy watermelon vodka cocktail
Read below to see how I’ve been batching this easy watermelon vodka cocktail all summer long
Why you’ll love this watermelon vodka cocktail!
- 4 simple ingredients: fresh watermelon, lime juice, vodka, and agave nectar
- A thirst quencher for a hot summer day! Not only are these cocktails less than 200 calories but they are naturally hydrating.
- Quick to make! These come together in just five minutes (seriously!) and in just one blender. You can pour them through a fine-mesh sieve for a super smooth texture or just drink them right from the blender.
- Batch cocktail for a crowd: this makes about 4 single servings and can be easily double batched

Ingredients for this watermelon vodka cocktail:
- fresh watermelon
- freshly squeezed lime juice
- vodka
- agave nectar or simple syrup, optional
- ice

how to make this Blended watermelon vodka drink
- Add in your watermelon chunks, lime juice, vodka, and agave or simple syrup. Blend on high until all the watermelon has been broken down and smooth.
- You can drink this as is or over ice but I prefer to run it through a fine-mesh sieve to remove some of the watermelon pulp for an extra smooth cocktail.
- Pour the cocktail mixture over a glass with ice
- Garnish with a fresh watermelon wedge and lime wheel
A note on ice! Don’t add the ice right to the blender, it will make the drink a bit watered down.

What vodka should I use?
You can really use whatever vodka you prefer! I love something mid-grade like Titos or Hangar 1. Citrus vodka would also give this a zesty flavor!
Can dogs have watermelon?!
Yes! Dogs can have watermelon as a cool, summer snack! Just be sure to watch out for seeds and don’t let them chew on the rine as these can be hard on their stomach according to the AKC.
Racal loves to snack on some watermelon out in the backyard with us. It’s super hydrating and has only 50 calories a cup.

Can I make this ahead?
Totally! Blend and strain the watermelon mixture and place into an air tight container. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Can I make these as a non-alcoholic?!
Sure! If you’re looking to make these into a mocktail you can replace the vodka with lemonade or top them off with sparkling water. If you’re on the hunt for more great mocktails, this frozen pina colada is one of my FAVS.

These are delicious, surprisingly easy to make, and were a great way to use up the whole watermelon I bought! The sieve leaves you with a super smooth cocktail, not grainy at all!
These look great, Let’s make some at Banana’s.
