This Frozen Mojito is everything you love about a fresh mojito blended up into an icy frozen cocktail! These feel like a fancy cocktail you’d get on a twinkle-lit patio restaurant but made right in your own home. A batched cocktail that’s easy to make with just four ingredients!
Why you’ll love this frozen mojito cocktail
Fresh and icy! I love a well-made mojito and this one sure delivers. It has all the classic ingredients of your traditional mojito recipe but is blended into a frozen slushy masterpiece rather than served on the rocks. And those little speckles of mint leaves just make it that much more appealing.
No muddling required! Rather than having to take the extra step of muddling the mint in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, all the work is done for you with the help of your blender. Plus, there’s no need to freeze the cocktail overnight or prep ahead. Whiz everything together in less than 1 minute and serve it straight away. Fast, fabulous and delicious!
Serves a bunch! This mojito recipe makes four generous cocktails, with the option to double or triple the recipe to serve a crowd. Simply multiply the recipe by however many cocktails you need and serve it up pitcher-style for all your friends.

What is a frozen mojito?
A frozen mojito is made with the same ingredients as a classic mojito but replaces the soda water with ice to create a frosty, icy and frozen slushie. Plus, it’s incredibly bright and refreshing thanks to the blended aspect of the mint leaves rather than muddling the whole leaves.
Ingredients
The ingredient list for this mojito cocktail is short and sweet. Here’s a look at what we need:
- White rum
- Freshly squeezed lime juice
- Simple syrup
- Ice
- Mint leaves
Ingredient substitutions and notes:
- Use your favorite bottle of white rum, like Bacardi.
- Freshly squeezed lime juice is a must and will make the best mojito recipe.
- Make your own simple syrup by dissolving 1 cup sugar in 1 cup water in a saucepan on the stove — or pick up a bottle from the liquor store.
How to make
All it takes is a quick whiz in your blender and you have a mojito recipe for a crowd in less than 30 seconds!
Place white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, ice and mint leaves in a blender. Blend for 15-20 seconds or until smooth. Garnish with extra mint leaves and lime wedges.
Serving suggestions
Sip this beauty on the last few days of summer or any time you need a cooling cocktail. I love to pair it with small bites, like mini steak frites, zucchini corn fritters and lemon pepper chicken wings.
Recipe tips & notes:
- Do not blend for more than 30 seconds. Or it will bruise the mint and make the cocktail bitter.
- Serve immediately. Get that luscious mojito slushy vibe by serving these cocktails right away!
- Double or triple the recipe. Easily multiply the recipe by however many you need for pitcher-style mojitos to serve a crowd.
- Serve in any glass! Frozen mojitos can be served in any glass of choice, including the classic lowball or highball glass. I love the aesthetic of a stemmed wine glass — but feel free to use any glasses you have on hand!
