Why You’ll Love This Pear Martini Recipe
The first iteration of our pear martini was such a hit that I wanted to think of a variation on this iconic cocktail, but really, why mess with perfection? I figured the best thing I could do was make a supersized version of it! You won’t have to worry about mixing and shaking for every single party guest anymore – you’ll have pear martinis on tap!
This martini is delicately flavored with pear, a hint of sweetness, and a burst of citrus that makes it go down delightfully easy. And while this drink is great year-round, pears are especially delicious in the fall and winter seasons, so this is the perfect holiday cocktail!
Add extra fresh pear, mix your drink with a cinnamon stick for some autumnal spices, or follow the recipe to the T. You simply can’t go wrong if you’re starting your night with a big batch pear martini!

How to Make a Big Batch of Pear Martinis
Step 1: Add Ingredients + Shake
In a pitcher or a clear glass bottle with a swing top, add (with a funnel) the pear vodka, lemon juice, pear juice, and simple syrup. Close the lid and shake the bottle with the lid tightly secured until all ingredients are distributed.
Step 2: Chill, Serve + Garnish
Chill the carafe in the freezer for an hour, or in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Pour out 5 oz into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a pear slice.
Step 3: Alternative Method
For a more classic martini taste, you can pour 5 oz into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake it for 10-15 seconds until the shaker tin is very cold on the outside. This will create more of a classic icy martini texture rather than just the pouring from the bottle, but either one works!
FAQs
How can I get more pear flavor in my martini?
This question is music to my ears! I wrote this recipe to have the perfect balance of pear flavor, but I’m always a fan of adding more pear. You can make your own simple syrup with fresh pears, or muddle fresh pears and shake it in a cocktail shaker with the liquid. If you want to go a step further, spices like clover, nutmeg, and cinnamon enhance pear flavor so a delicate touch of those will lift it even more. Plus, it’s perfect for the holidays!
What variations can I make on a pear martini?
The flavor of pear lends itself to so many different combinations. I’d recommend keeping the recipe exactly as is but adding in one or two extra complementary flavors until you find your perfect variation on this martini. Try ginger, a caramel rim, vanilla, autumnal spices, or any nutty flavors
