FAQs

Can margaritas be made in advance?

This big batch of pomegranate margs can be made ahead of time which makes them perfect for party prep! Ideally, you’ll make it the night before (sans ice) and store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to set it out for your guests. Add the ice and any garnish right before servings.

Is Cointreau the same as Triple Sec?

Cointreau is actually a type of Triple Sec, except it has a higher alcohol content. It’s up to you to choose which one you’d like to use in this recipe, though I prefer Cointreau.

What is the secret to a good margarita?

In my personal opinion, it’s the citrus! Even in a fruity margarita like this, the burst of lime juice makes all the difference. Sometimes I even add a splash of freshly squeezed orange juice!
