FAQs
What is the best prosecco for Aperol spritz?
You can use your favorite prosecco for your spritz, but I pretty dry (brut) prosecco in this recipe because it balances out the sweetness of all the fruit. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Does Aperol freeze?
Aperol doesn’t freeze completely because alcohol doesn’t freeze! However, it will get super cold and a little slushy. You can make it even icier by mixing it with your orange juice and freeze it in ice cube containers before blending. The orange juice will help it freeze.
Is Aperol Spritz a strong cocktail?
Yes and no! Aperol itself is 11% alcohol so it’s not super strong, but when you add addition liquor and prosecco the alcohol content jumps and you can find yourself with a mighty strong cocktail!
