Why You’ll Love This Refreshing Blood Orange Strawberry Spritz
I love a cocktail that will transport you with just a sip, and this blood-orange strawberry spritz does just that. I sip this drink and I’m immediately by the pool, on a veranda, under an umbrella at the beach, etc. Regardless, I’m in the sun and I’m enjoying a refreshing beverage!
This cocktail tastes juicy, have you ever experienced that? The blood orange juice and strawberry syrup complement each other perfectly, and every sip feels fresh and exciting.
One thing that was important to me about this recipe was to make it as easy as possible, so I’m using my strawberry syrup recipe. You can make up a big batch of it to use later for other cocktails and recipes!

Ingredients
Only four simple ingredients, plus some ice! I also made this cocktail easier by using strawberry syrup that you’ll (hopefully) already have in your fridge or freezer. If not, no worries – it’s easy to whip up!
- Strawberry syrup
- Blood orange juice
- Lillet blanc
- Prosecco or champagne
- Ice
How To Make a Strawberry and Blood Orange Drink
This might be one of the easiest cocktails to make – you don’t even need a cocktail shaker.
Just add your strawberry syrup, blood orange juice, Lillet blanc, and ice to a large wine glass. Stir these ingredients together and then top the glass with prosecco or champagne. Voila!
Serving Suggestions
Every cocktail is better with a few friends! Invite your favorite people over and put on a little spread. I have some ideas to get you started!
- Appetizers: Start with a few dishes to nibble on (or strictly serve apps – I love those kinds of parties!) like a 5 layer bean dip, goat cheese bruschetta, or pineapple mango salsa. You could also lean into the fruity vibe and serve some blueberry goat cheese or cherry pecan baked brie!
- If you’re serving a main dish, something on the lighter side like a salmon quinoa bowl, summer cobb salad, or summer veggie edamame bowls sound nice!
- Don’t forget about dessert! This strawberry tres leches cake is absolutely to die for! Or, try this strawberry icebox cake if you need something to cool you down.
