Why you should make these peanut butter overnight oats?

Extremely easy meal prep! These overnight oats come together in one large bowl. Simply dump all the ingredients in, stir together and divide into air tight containers.

On the go Breakfast: If you usually have breakfast on the go or need something quick to get your morning going, these peanut butter overnight oats are a great option for something nutritious and tasty.

Customizable: I love pairing these oats with bananas but feel free to add in any berry (blueberry, raspberry, strawberry) for a pb & j flavor profile or try a nut for some added crunch.

You can easily swap in any of your favorite nut milks, oat milk or regular milk.

Perfect for peanut butter lovers: If peanut butter is your favorite, then you will devour these. The rich, creamy taste of peanut butter is laced within every bite.

Can easily be turned into a dessert: with a little chocolate sauce or Nutella, these quickly go from breakfast on the go to a luxurious night time treat.

Overnight Oats with banana

I absolutely love these peanut butter overnight oats with banana. I love snacking on a banana with peanut butter so the combo was heavenly for me. I also think the banana aids to the overall texture of the overnight oats and makes them extremely creamy and silky.

Overnight Oats FAQ

How long do overnight oats need to soak for? If we want to get technical…overnight oats actually don’t have to soak overnight, but I do recommend at least 4 hours. This gives the oats enough time to soak up some of the liquid and soften to a tender, chewy consistency. The texture is best on days 1-3 but you can eat them after a couple of hours!

Can you eat the oats hot? Yes, totally. I’m weird and love them cold (plus they are easier out of the fridge) but you could heat them in the microwave for a bit until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
