Why You’ll Love This Passion Fruit Martini Recipe

From where I’m sitting, I think passion fruit is the one fruit everyone likes. Even if you don’t love snacking on the whole fruit itself, you can’t tell me you don’t love passion fruit flavored things. It’s just not possible. With this thought in mind, I created my newest big batch cocktail – a fruity, fresh, and eternally sippable passion fruit martini. I made it with homemade passion fruit puree too, which is easy to make and totally worth it!

I’ve made a passion fruit spritz and a regular ‘ol passion fruit martini before, but it’s time to take things up a notch. Personally, I can never stop at just one, so I had to supersize the recipe. It’s always so nice knowing I’m having a group of friends over and I have our favorite cocktail squared away in the fridge. It means I can actually socialize and don’t have to play bartender all night long.

You’re going to love the flavors in this martini because it’s the perfect blend of fruity citrus and sweet simple syrup that simply dances on your tongue. You can use passion fruit or lime wheels for garnish, or get wild and rim your glass with sugar or salt. Either way, this big batch version will keep you and your friends happy all night long!

Supersizing a recipe can be hard sometimes because the measurements don’t always translate correctly, but I’ve made sure this martini is perfectly measured for the best flavor! You only need the handful of ingredients I’ve listed below, but be sure to check the exact measurements in the recipe card.

  • Vodka
  • Cointreau (or triple sec)
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Passion fruit puree
  • Simple syrup
  • Passionfruit or lime wheels for garnish

Feel free to use storebought passion fruit juice or puree, but if you have the time I recommend making your own. Use my homemade puree recipe, it’s so simple!

How To Make a Batched Passion Fruit Martini

making passion fruit puree

Step 2: Shake + Serve

Shake for 20-30 seconds or until the outside of the shaker is frosty. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a lime wheel or a passion fruit half.

funnel the ingredients into a large bottle

If you’re making this recipe in a pitcher, whisk together the ingredients from Step 1 very well until the ingredients are combined. When you’re ready to enjoy, pour a serving into a cocktail shaker with ice to chill your martini.
