This Orange Blossom Gin and Tonic is a super simple orange gin cocktail that has all the makings of the classic + an extra burst of fresh citrus flavor! With only four ingredients and an orange blossom for garnish, this recipe is the perfect way to take your favorite cocktail to the next level!

Why You’ll Love This Orange Blossom Gin and Tonic
I know I’m lucky to live in sunny Southern California, but I feel especially grateful this time of year when the oranges and grapefruits are running wild in the backyard! The orange blossoms smell so good and after a few days of the aroma wafting around the house, I knew I had to make a cocktail with blossoms as a beautiful natural garnish.
This gin and tonic is such a delicious twist on the classic! A G&T is so many people’s go-to drink and I love that the flavor is neutral enough that you can add different flavors to it seasonally. With all of my backyard activity, it was a natural choice to pair gin and orange juice!
You only need four simple ingredients to make this fresh, fruity, and floral cocktail that’ll knock you right off your feet (in a good way). Mix one up this weekend and let me know what you think!

The amazing thing about gin and tonics is that they’re so simple. Even with a flavorful version like this, all you need are 4 ingredients, plus an optional garnish!

And side note: If you love oranges as much I do, you can use orange gin to make it pop! Also, use whatever kind of orange you can get your hands on! Make a blood orange gin and tonic, why don’t ya?

FAQs
The most simple gin and tonic recipe is typically just gin and tonic with a twist of lime. If you want more flavor or you’re just looking to spice up your cocktails, you can always add things like your favorite juice/mixer to give it a boost of flavor. Also, try mixing half tonic and half soda for some variation, and make sure to use a great quality gin. For even more ideas, make flavor-infused ice cubes (in this recipe you could make orange juice cubes!), play around with fun garnish ideas, or make a flavor-infused simple syrup to add some flavor and sweetness at the same time.
The orange blossom is the flower of an orange tree, so it’s pretty floral with notes of honey and citrus. It’s honestly delightful!
A normal ratio would be 2 ounces of gin to 4 ounces of tonic water, but you can always play around with this based on your preference. If you like a stronger drink, add more gin. If you like less, add some orange juice to dilute it.
Serving Suggestions
A gin and tonic is one of the most versatile cocktails, flavor-wise. You can pair it with nearly anything, but I will say it’s particularly delightful with citrus (hence, this recipe). Here are a few food pairings for you to try and enjoy!
- Appetizers: These martini marinated blue cheese olives would be delicious, and you can use gin instead of vodka to keep your alcohol consistent. This cocktail would also pair well with prosciutto melon skewers or a shrimp platter to start.
- Main Course: It’s all about the light and bright flavors of seafood and citrus! Try spicy shrimp tacos, lemon pepper salmon, or lemon pepper wings as your main.
- Dessert: And finally, if your backyard looks like mine does, you have a ton of oranges left over. Use them to make a delicious, moist, and citrusy chocolate orange cake!
